NAIA provides a range of services that are focused on helping the Māori world to prosper. On one hand, we provide strategic and communications advice to organisations working on kaupapa that support our people. On the other, we support organisations with training and development to make the Māori world more meaningful. NAIA – we are here to educate people, to tell our stories, to support our Māori world to prosper.

HE TANGATA
– It’s about people and training

NAIA is committed to helping corporate NZ build the confidence and awareness that will allow for meaningful engagement with te ao Māori. We call this deeper understanding “CQ” or cultural intelligence. We deliver this through in-house training and workshops that focus on Māori history, language and protocols, and we work alongside businesses to co-design strategies for engagement with Māori. We also offer executive leadership and governance training that use Māori concepts to improve cohesiveness, planning, and strategy.

HE KUPU
– It’s about words and stories

There is a strong tradition of storytelling in te ao Māori, and we want to harness its ability to foster understanding and weave people together. Our team has extensive experience working with iwi and Māori organisations in communications. We bring a uniquely Māori perspective and understanding to developing communications plans, fostering strong relationships with our communities, and storytelling.

HE AO
It's about strategy and understanding

We offer specialist support to organisations working on kaupapa that help our whānau determine their own horizons. We have expert skill sets and a deep knowledge of issues between Māori organisations, Crown, local government, and other entities.
